Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern every order you place with NFC 1 Biz (“we”, “us”, “our”) through this website. By placing an order or using the website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not order.

1. Our products

We supply NFC-enabled stands and cards that open links you choose (for example a Google review page, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or a website) when a customer taps a phone on the product or scans its QR code. Product images on this website are illustrations and the finished product may differ slightly in colour, finish and layout.

2. Compatibility

NFC tap works on most modern smartphones that have NFC switched on. Some older or low-end devices do not support NFC. Every product also carries a QR code as an alternative. We do not guarantee that every device will read every product.

3. Your logo and links

  • You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, every logo, name, image and link you supply, and that they do not infringe anyone’s rights.
  • You give us permission to reproduce your logo on your product and to show it on previews of your order.
  • The logo preview on this website is a simulation only. Final artwork is confirmed with you before production and small differences in size, position and colour may occur.
  • You are responsible for making sure your links are correct and stay active. We may refuse any logo or link that is unlawful, misleading, hateful or abusive.

4. Orders and payment

  • All prices are in South African rand (ZAR).
  • Payment is made online through Payfast. We do not see or store your card details.
  • An order is only confirmed once payment is received and you have confirmed your delivery details with us.
  • We may cancel an order and refund you in full if a product is unavailable, if a price was shown in error, or if we cannot reasonably make the product you ordered.

5. Production and delivery

  • Products are programmed with your links before dispatch. Delivery times given to you are estimates and not guarantees.
  • Shipping is charged at R320 per order. Orders with a product total above R1 200 ship free. The shipping amount is shown and included in your total before you pay.
  • You must give us a complete and correct delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.
  • Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us or to the courier you chose.

6. Cancellations and returns

  • Products made or customised to your specifications, such as stands with your logo or links, cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless they are faulty or not as ordered.
  • Where the law gives you a right to cancel an order placed online, we will honour it. This right does not apply to goods made to your specifications.
  • To cancel an order before production, contact us as soon as possible using the details in section 12.

7. Faulty products

If your product arrives damaged, does not work, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 6 months of delivery with your order details and a photo or short video. If the product is defective we will repair it, replace it or refund you, as the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 requires. Faults caused by misuse, accidents, water damage or tampering are not covered.

8. Third-party services

Your links point to services we do not own or control, such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their availability, changes, content or policies. A product only helps customers reach your page. We do not promise any number of reviews, followers, sales or other results.

9. Intellectual property

The NFC 1 Biz name, website, designs and content belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Your logo and content remain yours.

10. Privacy

We collect only the personal information needed to process and deliver your order, such as your name, contact details and delivery address. We use it to fulfil your order, to contact you about it and to meet legal obligations, and we handle it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013. We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us fulfil your order, such as Payfast and couriers. You may ask to see, correct or delete your information by contacting us.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business arising from the use of our products or this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

13. General

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this website when you place your order applies to that order.
